Bali: Colour

A collection of photographs from a recent trip to Bali, Indonesia.

Bali is a special corner of the world. The lush landscape, carefully tendered crops, time for prayer, and the makeup of their homes makes Bali arguably one of the world's richest locations to pick up your camera and shoot. In my humble opinion, every blink is a photo opportunity.

I only hope Bali remains as timeless as the spirit of its people and ancestors.

6am Ubud, Bali

One of the highlights of 2009 was staying in the rain-forests and rice fields of Ubud, Bali.

On our third morning I caught the sun rising through a gap in the screen. Taken somewhere between 6 and 7am here are some shots of that very first light.
