Portraits at Surfers Paradise

A series of shots taken at Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast, Australia.

I was shooting with my Canon ESO 450D, but with my favourite Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II lens. This particular lens is restrictive, for example, you are not able to switch to a wide angled shot, but it does make for a clear image with wonderful depth of field.

In these particular shots, I notched the f/stop two notches above 1.8 and kept the ISO at 100 due to the good sunlight.

I also enjoyed tilting the camera. I think it makes for a more fun-filled scene. I hope you agree.
